Spa Etiquette
Policies
- Ambrosia is not suited to accommodate children.
- Ambrosia is not suited to accommodate pets.
- All Spa clients are required to be 16 years of age, otherwise parental consent is required.
- For the consideration of others please turn off your cell phone.
- Your appointment has been reserved especially for you so a 24-hour cancellation policy is in effect. Any no-show or cancelled appointments less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the service price. We will try to reach you prior to your appointment to confirm, at which time you may cancel if required (without a cancellation fee).
Arrival
- Please arrive about 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. This will allow you to check in and relax before you begin.
Attire
- Dress comfortably to best enjoy your service.
- You will be provided with a pair of slippers for your spa & salon visit and a robe or courtesy wrap if required.
Reservations & Appointments
- Walk in clientele are welcome but are subject to availability. Reservations are strongly recommended especially for all body work and massage appointments.
- Reservations can be made by phone or at our front desk and may require a credit card.
- Late arrivals of 15 minutes or more will have to reschedule their appointment.
- Please specify at the time of booking if you require a BC registered massage therapist and your mobility level (we are located in a heritage style home and will need to specially accommodate persons unable to climb stairs)
Gratuities
- Are not included in the service price. However, for Service Excellence, gratuities are graciously accepted.
Gift Cards do not include gratuities.
